Route Review:

1. •OPTIONAL UNSUPPORTED but GUIDED tour around Owasco Lake Finger Lake - fast group and a slow group will form.
   

2. •We will regroup at the top of the Wycoff Rd climb (9 mile mark), in Moravia at the Kwik-Fill Convenience store (17 mile mark), at Arnold Rd (25 mile mark) & Rt 38A (29 mile mark)
   

3. •If we have 2 ride leaders, when we come to the 25 mile mark (Arnold Rd), one ride leader will continue on the 33 mile loop and the 2nd ride leader can guide the group on the longer route.

Sun Day 5

Ride Informaton:

1. •Beautiful ride around Owasco Lake with scenic views of the lake
   

2. •33 mile loop; 1,554 ft climbing -- option to add on 7 miles & 739 ft climbing (40 miles & 2,306 ft climbing total)
   

3. •No route markings and no supported rest stop. There is a convenience store in Moravia at the halfway mark to refuel
   

4. •Ride starts at 9am from Emerson Park, near Merry Go Round Theater -- entrance is off Owasco Rd on the east side. Go thru entrance booth (should be free parking), do a U-turn as if to exit and park in parking lot on the right before the exit.

HOTEL OPTIONS:

1. •If you plan on doing the ride, it will be best to stay overnight Sat July 26th either in Auburn or nearby Auburn.
   

2. •There are a few hotels in Auburn, most within 3 - 5 miles from the start of the ride at Emerson Park. The Holiday Inn & Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn have a breakfast and an onsite restaurant, but rooms are at a higher cost.
   

3. •The Inn at the Finger Lakes, a “budget friendly”, no frills hotel (no breakfast, no onsite restaurant) has offered the riders a huge discount on rooms for Sat July 26th, with 2 room options, both less than $100 (with taxes). All rooms have a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Use this link to book a discounted room at the >> INN AT THE FINGERLAKES.

Dining Options:

1. •Many dining options available in Auburn or Skaneateles.
   

2. •Dinner (Sat night) -- Prison City Brewery, Parkers 129 Grille, Moro’s Table, Applebee’s, Chili’s, Green Shutters (across from Emerson Park) & many more.
   

3. •Breakfast -- Dunkin Donuts (very near downtown hotels for a quick breakfast sandwich) & many more options.
